IRB to commission 3 highways by Sept

IRB Infrastructure Developers, one of the country's largest highway developers, is looking to commission three of its highway projects by September, said chairman & managing director VD Mhaiskar.
These roads are together worth about Rs4,500 crore. The company will by July commission the 114km stretch between Tumkur and Chitradurga in Karnataka and the 239km Surat-Dahisar project. They are valued at Rs1,142 crore and Rs2,835 crore, respectively. IRB has been tolling the Surat-Dahisar stretch since it bagged the project in 2009 because it is a six-laning project.
