June 13, 2011

According to a report by real estate portal 99acres.com property prices in the Delhi NCR region have escalated between 10-45% in the last one year. This increase in prices indicates that the sentiment in the sector has improved drastically since the slowdown.
Property prices in Delhi continue to move upwards despite signs of stagnation as visible from a slowdown in demand for homes and the resultant decline in sales volumes.

Areas in Gurgaon saw the highest level of property price appreciation in the NCR. Between Jan-Mar 2010 and Jan-Mar 2011, the per square feet prices of properties on Sohna Road were up 46.1%, DLF City Phase 4 were up 41.9% and in Sector 57 were up 37%
